Gambling, clubbing, tanning and partying. What more could a college co-ed want for spring break?

Besides picking a major, choosing a spring break destination might be one of the hardest decisions a college co-ed must make. Returning to classes after winter break, the average male student is faced with the difficult question of whether he wants to spend his precious week off clubbing and hitting the city pavement or taking it easy and lying on an exotic beach. Will it be city or titty? College ladies are often faced with an equally difficult question: Do I want to be rufied while club hopping or while sipping pina coladas by the surf?

Whether you want to collect seashells and crabs (and we don't mean the crustacean kind) or take in the sights and sounds of a happenin' city, Las Vegas might be the perfect destination to experience the best of both worlds this spring break.

While Las Vegas might be full of amusement rides, shopping and Cirque du Soleil shows, there's really no point in heading to the city of sin if you're not 21 yet. While you might still find it awesome gallivanting around Siegfried and & Roy's Secret Garden while high on shrooms (or whatever the kids are on these days), there isn't going to be much fun for you after midnight when Bette Midler's done singing and everyone's in the clubs or casinos.

So, if you're still underage, head to Cancun or any other Central American hotspot to be showered with tequila without having to run from the fuzz, and save Vegas for your senior year.

However, if you're over 21, we move on.

Casinos That Can't Be Missed

The first thing you might be wondering is where the best casinos are in Vegas. Luckily, at Bodog Nation, we think that way too. If you're looking for the type of Vegas casino you see in the movies, head to the upscale Bellagio, and you won't be disappointed. The casino at the Bellagio offers swanky gaming tables for trying your hand at Blackjack and Roulette, glitzy slots and a sleek sports book. This would be a great spot for some late night high rollin' complete with Hollywood glamour.

The casino at the MGM Grand is also notable... because it's big. And it's true: Bigger is better. Their casino boasts 171,500 square feet. A day spent walking from table to slots to table will surely counteract all of the calories piled on at the buffet. Take your pick from 75 Blackjack tables, 15 Craps tables and 17 Roulette wheels, and hopefully you'll finish off spring break a little richer than you started.

Where to Shake Your Junk

Spring break is all about partying hard, and Las Vegas has some of the hottest spots to get the party started.

Sin City dance clubs don't hold anything back. There's always hot DJs spinning the latest hits, fancy laser light shows, plush velvety couches for you to make out on and artificial waterfalls lurking somewhere by the washrooms. And that's why they're also always packed. Any night of the week. So either get yourself on a VIP list or be ready to shell out some of daddy's cash.

Pure nightclub at Caesars Palace is the place you want to be when the sun sets on the Vegas Strip. The nightclub is pretty much where celebrities sip Cristal when they're in town, so you might suddenly find yourself grinding up against Paris Hilton... And that's not necessarily a bad thing. Also, Pure's decor includes "pure" white lounge beds with "pure" white pillows and "pure" white tables, making it the perfect place to do some "impure" things.

Another hotspot to get your crunk on during spring break has to be Tryst nightclub at the Wynn. With its 90-foot waterfall and 12,000 square feet of dance floor, Tryst is also another celebrity mecca and will allow you to party all night long until 4 a.m.

R&R and Zzzzs...

It ain't called a break for nothin'. Make sure you spare an hour or two from the casino or sober up after a long night by catching some UV rays and lounging by the pool. You also don't want to be the pasty one coming back from spring break just because you didn't spend the week on an exotic beach. But you won't have to, because Vegas brings the beach to you.

The Tropicana can't be beat when you're looking for the biggest bang for your buck. Accommodations at the Tropicana are really reasonable considering the convenient location of the hotel on the Strip. Plus, hopefully you won't be spending too much time in your room anyways... not when you can sip cocktails and work on your tan in 12,000 square feet of aquatic party space. The Tropicana is known for its spring break style pool. Hundreds of lounge chairs? Check. Waterfalls and palm trees? Check. Convenient poolside bar serving up tasty adult beverages at all hours of the day? Check, check.

Miss the beach? No worries. Vegas brings the beach to you.

If your college spring break trip is courtesy of a deceased aunt or scholarship money, then spare no expense at the Mandalay Bay. While a room at this desert oasis doesn't come cheap, you might be able to save some money by getting a room with double beds and getting cozy under the covers with a friend. What makes the Mandalay Bay worth it is the opportunities it offers college co-eds to hang around in their bathing suits. With three pools, a tubing river, a wave pool and 2,700 tons of white beach sand, you would be a fool not to shed those winter layers. A fool.

If you're used to crowded college dorms and non-stop partying (even when trying to sober up), you'll feel right at home at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. It's not so much the room you'll be staying there for, but for the infamous weekly Rehab party that goes on every Sunday. Relax in the sun as tight-bodied co-eds mingle around you. There's live music, drinking and swim-up Blackjack (need we say more?). The party gets started at noon and lingers around until 7 p.m. So either stay at the Hard Rock or get there early, because we hear the line is long.

So there you have it. The perfect college spring break destination just might be Vegas, where you can shoot some Craps, hit a buffet, grind up against some strangers, sober up by the pool and then do it all over again.
